Classical Ballet Theatre received a recognition from the State of California
Director and Founder of Classical Ballet Theatre, Kotomi Matsuda, and her students received a Certificate of Recognition from the State of California Senate for their performance of Sleeping Beauty on May 18, 2014 at Norris Center of the Performing Arts in Rolling Hills Estates, California.
Kotomi is honored to receive such encouraging words and support from California Senator, Ted Liu. This recognition has motivated her to continue on teaching with discipline, creating positive learning experiences for children and developing the hidden talents of all students. She says: "Everybody has the potential to become a star! My passion is to see every single student discover their talents and gain highself-esteem as they dance the music. Classical ballet is an exciting fine art education and gives dancers the important life tools to respectothers, love and challenge yourself, and achieve amazing dreams."
