Class description:
We teach students to dance famous ballet acts and parts. We introduce students to beautiful classical music, theater acting, ballet stories, characters, and themes while they have a great time learning classical variations from Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and new classical dance variations.
We encourage students to discover unique movements that improve motor skills, physical strength, endurance, and contribute to creative intelligence.
Students enjoy learning various ways to express themselve with newly orchestrated music.
The composers are Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, Mozart, etc. This is the best time for students to become familiar with great classics and develop their talents.
Students gain confidence and improve stage presence as they progress with skills, techniques, and artistic ability.
Preparatory for pointe, pointe variations, intermediate/advanced level techniques, jumps, leaps, grand waltz, adagio, allegro ballet steps, character dances, and challenging turns.
Advanced classical ballet variations, character dances, famous ballets and acts are taught in this course. Students perform solo, perform in professional theaters, and compete. Students receive intensive training and study with choreographers, prima ballerinas, principle dancers, and ballet masters from New York and Europe.
